This shrine, situated at the intersection of Wojska Polskiego and Żorska Streets, was constructed probably in 18th century. The panels of the four walls contain folk paintings (18th – 19th century), depicting among others Jesus Christ in Getsemani garden. Under one of them there are words “Bądź wola Twoja” (Thy will be done). According to a local legend, it was here that Henry III of France, on his way to France, was caught by Krakow voivode Andrzej Tęczyński, who did not succeed in convincing him to come back to the Polish throne.
